A year has gone by since the passing of Grace Paley, writer, activist, co-founder of the original Women and Life on Earth and much more. We remember her life and beautiful spirit, and hope to honor her work by continuing our own.

The headline above links to our page on Grace. We welcome other additions, remembrances, sent to info(at)wloe.org.

Welcome to WLOE

The Women and Life on Earth internet project began in 1999 to help connect women internationally, share information and work for ecological health and peace with justice in the new millennium.

Women and Diversity

A major project for WLOE in 2008 was helping organize the Festival of Diversity and two women's workshops as part of Planet Diversity. This international event, held in Bonn, Germany in May, brought together experts and activists from around the world working for sustainable, healthy, local and regional food production.
