About Mina Hamilton Mina Hamilton first
marched against the Vietnam War in 1965, later organized for the Committee
on the Professions Against the Vietnam War. She helped stop the US Army
Corps of Engineer's Tocks Island Dam from flooding 30 miles of the Delaware
River. A former Co-Director and then Director of the Sierra Club Radioactive
Waste Campaign, a campaign to expose the hazards of nuclear power plants
and weapons factories, she is currently Research Associate at Radioactive
Waste Management Associates. Mina has published in the Nation, the Progressive,
In These Times, the Village Voice and Mother Jones. She relaxes by teaching
yoga. |
