Suzanne Swift, an Army Specialist from Eugene, Oregon was sexually
harassed and abused by three commanding officers while serving in Iraq
and her return home to Ft. Lewis, Washington. Her reports were swept
under the rug. She went AWOL and was arrested June 11, 2006. She was
charged with being AWOL and Missing Movement, while her accused abusers
were never charged. On Wednesday, December 13, Suzanne faced a court
martial and was sentenced to 30 days in prison and stripped of all her
rank. She is currently being held at the prison at Bangor Naval base in
Washington. Her mother, Sara Rich has asked for letters of love and
support sent to Suzanne. As you write your holiday cards this year,
